Roger S. Welker

Roger Welker is a passionate business development officer with 35 years’ experience in the commercial finance industry. Prior to joining the team at Porter, Roger successfully built strong market presences in the Southeast with many of the industry leaders in factoring and asset-based financing including CIT Commercial Services, Wells Fargo Capital Finance, Merchant Financial Corp, and Edge Capital Corp.

He holds a BS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and an MBA from Emory University in Atlanta. Roger holds active roles in the local chapters of SFNet (past President), TMA, ACG, and others.

A 30-year resident of Fort Lauderdale, Roger is an enthusiastic sports participant and follower, and enjoys time with his wife Amy and children Luke, Alley, Harper, and Briley (a yellow lab).
